Makeup trends lean toward earthy tones during the fall season. Lighter makeup colours reminiscent of spring and summer should be replaced with deeper and richer hues for fall. Here are some quick tips to achieve the look of the season! Smokey brown eyes One beauty tip you cannot miss during this season is smoky eyes. Rich browns work well on the eyes and brows for fall. Try deepening your brow colour as it will frame your eyes and set off your best features. The matte tans and browns that are popular this season can also be incorporated into your eye makeup. Apply a tan-coloured shadow all over lids, then use a matte brown in the creases only. Finish off by lining your eyes with a brown liner. Hint: Use a Q-tip to smudge the liner which will give you smoky eyes, perfect for an evening out! Muted Berry Cheeks Using a large brush, dust the blush on the apples of your cheeks and apply just enough to give you a little colour. Remember that the fall trend is natural, earthy tones so don't go overboard on cheek color! You can also try using a bronzer to add colour to your cheeks - bronzer is usually an earthy tone of brown, which is great for this season's style trend. Pale Lip Colour Muted and matte lips are in style during this season, so stick with pale lip colours that have a matte finish. Toss the gloss and use a lipstick instead for this look.
