Jucia Chong's Musing - How To Make Your Perfume Last Longer
How to make your perfume last longer The most common mistake made when applying perfume on the wrists – dabbing and rubbing them together. (Guilty!) This doesn’t only force the top notes to disappear fast, making your fragrance not last as long; it also crushes down the molecules of your fragrance, making the scent become different from what it was intended to be. Moisture on your skin helps lock in the scent so it’s most effective to spray your perfume after taking a shower or applying an unscented body lotion. Apply your perfume to these pulse points - the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind ear lobes, in the cleavage, behind knees, and the inner elbows. As you wear your perfume throughout the day, it will react with your body heat and continue to emit scent. xoxo, Jucia Chong
