The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Great Looking Skin

We hear you, not everyone has time to set up an extensive skincare routine. That’s why we’ve come up with some simple tips that will have your skin looking clearer and more radiant in no time at all!
1. Konjac sponges all the way
Get yourself a konjac sponge, it’ll be your skin’s new best friend! These squishy little sponges soften and expand when dampened, which means they’re far less aggressive than wash cloths, making them the perfect exfoliation solution for delicate skin types.
2. Switch to silk
Silk pillowcases are a lot less harsh than cotton and linen ones. The soft fabric won’t crease your skin and will also help to prevent your hair from getting tangled while you sleep.
3. One step cleanse and moisturise
Kill two birds with one stone by cleansing and moisturising at the same time with a cleansing milk. These creamy cleansers are great at removing makeup and leave your skin feeling silky smooth with minimum effort.
4. Keep cleansing wipes at the ready
You know well enough that you should never sleep with your makeup on, right? For evenings when you’re just feeling too ‘ugh’ to bother, keep a pack of cleansing wipes on your nightstand so you can quickly and efficiently wipe off your makeup before hitting the pillows.
5. Give yourself a nighttime facial with an over night mask
Not enough time to use a face mask during the day? Why not treat yourself to a nighttime facial by using an overnight facial mask. Your skin will thank you for it and you’ll wake up feeling as fresh as a daisy!
6. Don’t forget the sunscreen
One of the secrets to healthier and younger looking skin is to protect yourself from UV rays, which only serve to cause age spots and wrinkles. Protect your skin from the harshness of the sun by using a sunscreen on a daily basis. Too much to think about? Opt for a moisturiser that includes SPF. Seriously lazy? Grab yourself a tinted BB cream that moisturises, tints and protects your skin from the sun, all in one go. Sorted.
7. And remember, stay hydrated
The best thing you can do for your skin is to stay hydrated, so make sure you’re drinking plenty of water throughout the day to help keep your skin looking healthy and radiant. Keep a large bottle of water by your desk with the aim to finish it by the end of the day and pop a smaller one in your bag for those days when you’re on the go.
